I'm trying to get up to speed here. A lot of pictures on the information from old post no longer work.... Is there a beginners guide that walk someone thru the process?
Frame choices.... ( do we really need over travel? and how do you know one load cell is broken?)
Raspberry Pi model
OS with Hivetool ... got nice letter from the crew with purchase of card
GPIO Card sensors..... can't seem to get mine to recogonize them yet
Software....( I can remote with RDC but can't gain access)
Understanding Data...
I only have 15 hives.... to go..

I feel your pain . Ii's been an uphill start but I now have it mounted on a hive, two temp/hum sensors, rain gauge, light sensor,
and the four weight sensors working.
I have been working on sound and video but getting no ware.
Let me know how you are doing.
I would be interested to know how you assemble the LUX sensor housing.... that is the last thing I'm stuck with..
Thanks

I went low tech and used a spray paint cap and small piece of plexiglass with a hole drilled on the side. Small notch on the side of the cap. Insert sensor. Silicone caulk liberally. Attached to anything or place on ground.

1. would also like to know how to tell if the LC is broken
2. i'm using Pi 3, but this probably overkill. Price diff is negligiable
3. GPIO - not sure. Raspi-config and confirm on?
4. Use RealVNC rather than RDC in raspian stretch
