Really awesome work... I like the idea of the PVC for the components and sensors
Is your temp sensor a 3D printed part? I like that idea so much more than installing it on a frame. I would be interested in printing these parts, would you share your file?
the two sensors are a AM2302, it's a part of the DHT series
And Adafruit #3421, SPH0645 MEMS mic using I2S
They go though a 1.5 inch hole into the hive box, hope the pic in the zip file help
The AM2302 is a large sensor. I used it because it is sold by hive tool for both inside and outside temp/hum
I have since learned that the Bosch sensors can be used too. Like the BME280 and BME680.
They are much smaller and would require a much smaller hole in the side of a hive box.
This is a project by itself, and would change the 3d printed part.
I have a Makerbot so the .stl would be great to test.
MakerBot MakerWare software requires either a .stl or .obj file type in order to print a 3D model.
I haven't looked at the smaller BME series sensors. I just love the idea of #d printed parts mounting in with your approach..... do you have any feedback on the bees covering it with propolis?
I found that I put .3mf files on thingiverse ,from cura 3.3.1
I will add .stl files too
the sensor been in the hive for 10 days and still working, but have not open the hive yet to see
though i try this video

DLM
where do you put the sensor? between the frame?
Mark in Willistown, PA

i am happy to give you the 3d parts
I use fusion360 so let me know what format .stl or fusion360 ?
